Andrew Pickup

Sole proprietor of PAQSC, Mr. Pickup is an experienced Air Quality Scientist with over 13 years of air quality consulting experience: performing assessments, regulatory reporting, and monitoring programs for projects in five provinces and all three territories, as well as international work. Andrew has previously worked in geophysics, wireline engineering, and acoustic/electromagnetic infrastructure monitoring, and also has consulting experience with light pollution, noise, and wildlife. His diverse skillset provides him both with the large picture context of project consulting and the nuts and bolts tools for the work itself.

Fun facts

Andrew is (still) an avid athlete, having competed internationally in fencing and ultimate, as well as nationally in disc golf. He has won the Western Canadian Championships in fencing four times, won the National Championships in ultimate two times and achieved silver at the World Ultimate Club Championships, and has won pro division tournaments in disc golf. Andrew competed at the World Ultimate Club Championships in Ireland in 2022, their team placing 5th in the world in the GGM age division and Andrew placed 4th in the world in scoring.
